Lois Marino

Lois Marino, a 25-year veteran of banking,is Assistant Vice President Manager of the Office of “WOW!” for BankAtlantic. Working her way through the ranks, Lois earned Assistant Manger and Operations Trainer titles during her tenure at BankAtlantic before assuming her “WOW!” responsibilities.

In 2003, her curriculum for financial literacy for elementary schools was approved by the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County school boards. With this certification in hand, Lois spearheaded BankAtlantic’s Kid Power Program which provides South Florida’s children educational information about banking and money management.

In 2009, Lois was appointed to the BankAtlantic Foundation to oversee specialized initiatives including the Bank’s SmARTS Program – a Knight Challenge Foundation award-winning program which provides access to the arts for the elementary school children of Dade and Broward.

“WOW!” is an accurate description of this pint-sized dynamo, who is tireless in her devotion to the community, and dedicated to creating opportunities for future generations through education and life skills training.
